The Tour de PEI

We thought it would be fun to take a family bike ride....the Gentle Island is famous for it's bike rides and when a beautiful day presented itself, we decided to take advantage, rent some bikes and trailers and hit the trail.

It took us a while to get going between AJ pitching a fit and refusing to get in the trailer, so us having to return to get the trailer because it was waaaay too hard and dangerous for Jim to pull both boys on the tandem attachment.

All in all, it was a really fun day.  We rode from the waterfront to the Charlottetown Farmer's Market where we munched on samosas, perogies, smoothies and homemade donuts.  The kids LOVED the adventure.  I'm excited to try it again when they're a little older.

Today is our last day on PEI....we'll be traveling tomorrow...a VERY long day.  Please pray for safe travels, sanity, well behaved kids and the strength to leave this place knowing it will be a while before we all return here as a family.
