Project Life Tuesday: Title and February 2014

Have I mentioned how much I LOVE Project Life?  Seriously. LOVE. IT.

So, it's around this time of year that I often find myself playing catch up in my books.  I do my best to stay up to date but realistically, I just can't seem to make it happen.  Part of it is that I don't have the space to just leave my stuff out.  When I didn't have to take it all out and put it all back every time, I did much better at keeping on top of it.

But that's the beauty of it....I go in spurts and get a ton done at one time.

These are from our 2014 book that I just started putting together.  I finished the cover page, along with January and February.  I'm sorting through my March, April and May pics this week and those should be selected and ready to go into an album soon.

Each year I've changed my approach.  This year I'm focusing solely on monthly layouts. I plan them out a bit before I print anything and I think about which kind of page layouts I need.  I used to just wing it, but I prefer this method better because I can be more intentional with what I put in. I'm using the Honey Edition as my core kit.  I don't use a whole lot of embellishments but I did use some Thickers for the kids' initials as well as a journaling sticker.

The February calendar card is from Studio Calico and I love them.  The set came with 4 for each month so I'm using one in each of our books. I wrote directly on the Light Bulb photo with my Project Life pen. The "Today was Epic" is an overlay from the HSN kit a while back.

So, overall...I keep things basic and simple..just like it was designed to be!
