My Glam VoxBox Review: #choosetosmooth #NYMcleanfreak #socutex

Friends!  It's been a while!  Life is well, life!

Anyhow, I got my latest Influenster VoxBox a couple of weeks ago and I wanted to share  a few of the products that I received!  In case you're not familiar with Influenster, you are sent boxes of free product to try out.  While I do receive these products for free when I provide feedback, all opinions of these products are my own!

These three products stood out for me in this box.

The first is the Not Your Mother's Clean Freak Unscented Dry Shampoo.  I have been testing various dry shampoos from Target...I've not gone salon quality yet because quite frankly I'm too cheap.  I've had other NYM products that I love so I was happy to get this one in the latest box!

My hair is the type of hair that needs to be washed every day...this of course gets tiresome and I'd love to be able to go a couple of days without have having to blow dry it!

I tested this out this week and so far it's living up to my expectations!  It took care of the oil and added some volume! I love that it's unscented!  My only issue with it was that I had to make sure I shook the powder through fairly quickly after spraying it in...there was one morning where I waited a little too long, and I ended up with a gray streak that I couldn't get rid of easily. No biggie...lesson learned!

Ironically, I was just about to go out and buy some of these travel sized nail polish remover wipes because I'm heading out of town in a couple of weeks and I will be gone long enough that I will want to redo my nails while I'm there.

These Cutex pads were perfect and I was in fact able to get all 10 nails clean with one wipe!  I'm not terribly fussy when it comes to my nails, but I want something effective and easy to travel with...these fit the bill!

Now this final product set was the one that I likely wouldn't buy again...and honestly, it's because I'm cheap.  The Gillette Venus Razor was nice and it did a great job, but the rollerball part to me is completely unnecessary and just an extra gimmick for them to charge more for the razor.  I got great results, but that was thanks to the blade, not thanks to the very slight swivel the middle of the razor provided.  The shave gel smelled nice but I prefer the shave gel for sensitive skin.  Again, this will be a great product to travel with, but I probably won't personally purchase it.

So there you have it....I definitely recommend the Not Your Mother's Dry Shampoo and Cutex Nail polish pads...but as for the Venus products? Save your money and go with a less gimmicky alternative unless you can find these for a steal!
